AN ACT
Amending title 35, chapter 1, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding section 35-125; relating to annual budget reporting.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 35, chapter 1, article 2, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 35-125, to read:
35-125. Joint legislative budget committee; annual report; sale‑leaseback
A. On or before January 31 of each year, the joint legislative budget committee staff shall present to the joint appropriations committees a report outlining data on state general fund obligations in the current and the next fiscal year incurred for sale‑leaseback arrangements entered into during fiscal year 2009‑2010.
B. The report shall itemize by state general fund obligation the amount of annual debt service this state is required to pay each fiscal year. The report shall not include information relating to transportation bonds, university bonds or any retirement system obligations that are not paid with state general fund monies.
C. The report shall be posted on the joint legislative budget committee's website, and a copy shall be provided to any member of the public who makes a request.
