AN ACT

 

making an appropriation to the department of education for distribution to schools that have been assigned a letter grade of D or f.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Appropriation; department of education; low‑performing schools

The sum of $40,000,000 is appropriated from the state general fund in fiscal year 2014-2015 to the department of education for distribution to schools that have been assigned a letter grade of D or F pursuant to section 15‑241, Arizona Revised Statutes, for the purpose of improving the performance of those schools.
