amending section 48-831, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to fire districts.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.  Section 48-831, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:

START_STATUTE48-831.  Exemption of volunteer firefighters from military duty

Fire fighters Firefighters employed by fire districts organized in any incorporated city or town of one thousand or more inhabitants, or in any unincorporated town of not less than five hundred inhabitants shall, while an employee employees, shall be exempt from performance of military duty in time of peace. END_STATUTE
