AN ACT
Amending title 36, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, by adding SECTION 36-116; RELATING to the department of health services.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Title 36, chapter 1, article 1, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended by adding section 36-116, to read:
36-116. Traditional Native American practices; regulation; exception
A. The department of health services, in consultation with the Arizona commission of Indian affairs, shall adopt rules for the regulation of any individual or business that charges people to participate in what the individual or business claims are traditional and authentic Native American practices.
B. This section does not apply to practices that are conducted on tribal land and that are authorized by that tribal jurisdiction's governing authority.
