AN ACT
Amending section 36‑2247, Arizona Revised Statutes; relating to emergency medical services.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:
Section 1. Section 36-2247, Arizona Revised Statutes, is amended to read:
36-2247. Certificates of necessity; ambulance services; name change
At least Within thirty days before after the date an ambulance service changes its legal name, the ambulance service shall send the department written notice of the name change. Within thirty days after the date of receiving the notice, the department shall issue an amended certificate of necessity that incorporates the name change but retains the expiration date of the current certificate of necessity.
