February 18, 2022 |
An act to amend Section 54000 of the Education Code, relating to educational programs.
LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL'S DIGEST
AB 2756, as introduced, Kiley.
Instruction and services: programs for disadvantaged pupils.
Existing law expresses the intent of the Legislature to provide quality educational opportunities for all children in the public schools. Existing law provides that the Legislature recognizes that a wide variety of factors, including low family income, have a direct impact on a child’s success in school and personal development and require different levels of financial assistance be provided to school districts, as provided.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.
