An act to amend Section 23049 of the Business and Professions Code, relating to alcoholic beverages.

SB 636, as introduced, Grove. Alcoholic beverages.
The Alcoholic Beverage Control Act, which is administered by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, regulates the application, issuance, and suspension of alcoholic beverage licenses. Existing law makes a statement of legislative intent regarding the strict, honest, impartial, and uniform administration and enforcement of state liquor laws and the creation of a governmental organization for this purpose.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to this intent statement.

The people of the State of California do enact as follows:


SECTION 1.

 Section 23049 of the Business and Professions Code is amended to read:

23049.
 It is the intention of the Legislature in enacting this chapter to provide a governmental organization which that will ensure a strict, honest, impartial, and uniform administration and enforcement of the liquor laws throughout the State state.
