AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF FUNDS IN ACCOUNTS ESTABLISHED FOR DESIGNATED PURPOSES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the General Assembly from using funds in accounts established for designated purposes for purposes other than those so designated and to require that such accounts be monitored to assure that funds are used only for such designated purposes.

Statement of Purpose:

To prevent funds in accounts established for designated purposes from being used for other purposes and to assure that such funds are spent for the purposes so designated.
