AN ACT CONCERNING THE PRESERVATION OF CERTAIN TRAILS FOR EQUINE USE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioner of Environmental Protection to preserve the following trails for equine use: (1) The Pequonnock and Housatonic Rail Bed Trail in Bridgeport, Trumbull, Monroe and Newtown, (2) the Bissell Trail, (3) the Keney Park Trails in Hartford, (4) the Machimoodus State Park in East Haddam, (5) the Sunrise Resort in East Haddam, (6) the Shenipsit State Forest trails, (7) the Bluff Point State Park and Coastal Preserve and the Haley Farm in Groton, (8) the Pachaug State Forest trails, and (9) the Naugatuck State Forest trails.

Statement of Purpose:

To preserve certain horse trails in the state.
