AN ACT AUTHORIZING MUNICIPALITIES TO NEGOTIATE THE PAYMENT OF DELINQUENT PROPERTY TAXES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 12-146 of the general statutes be amended to authorize municipal tax collectors to negotiate with property owners for the purpose of arranging for the payment of delinquent property taxes.

Statement of Purpose:

To authorize municipalities to negotiate the payment of delinquent property taxes with property owners.
