AN ACT CONCERNING NONEMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FOR ELDERLY AND DISABLED RESIDENTS OF SOUTHBURY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to expand existing nonemergency transportation services provided by the Department of Social Services or the Department of Transportation to elderly and disabled residents of Southbury to be driven to medical appointments at Danbury Hospital and other medical offices in Danbury.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide transportation to nonemergency medical appointments for elderly and disabled residents of Southbury.
