AN ACT CONCERNING FAMILY AND MEDICAL LEAVE FOR EDUCATION PARAPROFESSIONALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 31-51rr of the general statutes be amended to allow municipal professionals who have been employed for at least twelve months by an employer and for at least seven hundred fifty hours of service with such employer during the previous twelve-month period the same family and medical leave benefits as an employee who has been employed at least twelve months by such employer and for at least one thousand two hundred fifty hours of service with such employer during the previous twelve-month period.
Statement of Purpose:
To extend family and medical leave to municipal education paraprofessionals.
