AN ACT PROHIBITING CERTAIN RAIL AND BUS FARE INCREASES DURING TIME PERIODS IN WHICH PERSONAL INCOME HAS NOT INCREASED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit any increase in weekday rail and bus fare at any time when personal income has not increased during the preceding six months.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit rail and bus fare increases for commuters when their income has not increased.
