AN ACT CONCERNING BLOOD COLLECTION TECHNICIANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow blood collection technicians trained and certified by the organization formerly known as the American Association of Blood Banks to operate blood or blood component collection apheresis equipment.
Statement of Purpose:
To assure the collection of an adequate blood supply in the least costly manner.
