AN ACT CONCERNING LICENSES AND PREVIOUSLY INCARCERATED INDIVIDUALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to specify that an individual who has satisfied requirements needed to obtain a license while incarcerated, who applies for the license upon release from incarceration and who is otherwise eligible for the license shall not be subject to a delay in processing or a denial of the license solely on the basis that some or all of the licensure requirements were completed while the individual was incarcerated.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure fairness in the licensing of previously incarcerated individuals.
