AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO IDENTIFY EVIDENCE-BASED SOLUTIONS TO REDUCE CHILDREN'S EXPOSURE TO ADVERSE CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require the Governor to convene a task force to identify evidence-based solutions to reduce children's exposure to adverse childhood experiences, recommend ways to address the impacts of those experiences and recommend investments in preventative health care and mental health and wellness interventions.

Statement of Purpose:

To establish a task force to identify evidence-based solutions to reduce children's exposure to adverse childhood experiences.
