RESOLUTION PROPOSING A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT TO MAKE THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY FULL TIME.

Resolved by this Assembly:

That article third of the amendments to the Constitution of the state be amended to make the General Assembly a full-time legislature, in regular session throughout the year except for recesses comparable to that of the United States Congress, and that members of the General Assembly receive a salary and benefits commensurate with a full-time position.

Statement of Purpose:

To make the General Assembly a full-time legislature.
