AN ACT CONCERNING GREATER PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT IN THE PROCESS AFTER SCHOOL BULLYING HAS BEEN ALLEGED.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 10-222d of the general statutes be amended to provide greater parental involvement and interaction in the administration of the safe school climate plan when bullying has occurred or is alleged to have occurred, including, but not limited to, comprehensive and timely notice to the parents or guardians of the students who are involved in alleged incidents of bullying.

Statement of Purpose:

To allow for more parental involvement in the process when bullying is alleged at public schools.
