AN ACT CONCERNING EMPLOYER ADHERENCE TO GUIDANCE BY THE EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 31-51i of the general statutes be amended to require employers to follow guidance from the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on hiring persons with an arrest, conviction or criminal charge.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure employers adhere to guidance issued by the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
