AN ACT INCREASING THE PERSONAL NEEDS ALLOWANCE FOR CERTAIN LONG-TERM CARE FACILITY RESIDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
To amend section 17b-106 of the 2014 supplement to the general statutes and section 17b-272 of the general statutes to increase the personal needs allowance to seventy-two dollars and seventy-five cents per month for long-term care facility residents who receive medical assistance.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide badly needed funds to long-term care residents for personal needs.
