AN ACT CONCERNING APPROPRIATIONS FOR NUTRITION ASSISTANCE AND OTHER PROGRAMS FOR SENIOR CITIZENS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the Aging Committee identify accounts in the General Fund that may be reduced or eliminated in the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012, in order to increase appropriations for nutrition assistance and other programs supporting senior citizens in such fiscal year.
Statement of Purpose:
To find alternative funding sources for providing nutritional assistance to seniors.
