AN ACT PROHIBITING STATE AGENCIES FROM REQUIRING CERTAIN NONDISCLOSURE AGREEMENTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to prohibit any state agency, as defined in section 4-250 of the general statutes, from requiring (1) a state employee, or (2) any person appointed to any office of the legislative, judicial or executive branch of state government, to sign a nondisclosure agreement.

Statement of Purpose:

To prohibit the practice of requiring state employees or appointees to sign nondisclosure agreements.
