AN ACT HONORING DECEASED VETERANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 27-76 of the general statutes be amended to require that honor guard details at veteran funerals include a firing party, in addition to the three federally-mandated service members for folding and presentation of the United States flag and the playing of "Taps".
Statement of Purpose:
To provide appropriate honors for the state's deceased veterans.
