AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR PROGRAMS TO ASSIST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that any revenue received by the state from fines or other penalties in domestic violence cases be directed to victim service programs designed to assist victims of domestic violence.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide that revenue from fines or other penalties in domestic violence cases be directed to victim service programs designed to assist victims of domestic violence.
