AN ACT CONCERNING THE ELIGIBILITY OF IN-STATE FILMMAKERS FOR THE FILM TAX CREDIT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 12-217jj of the general statutes be amended to provide resident filmmakers the full thirty per cent credit against all eligible production expenses greater than two hundred fifty thousand dollars rather than one million dollars.
Statement of Purpose:
To assist small in-state filmmakers by reducing the expenditure requirement needed to qualify for the full credit.
