AN ACT CONCERNING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF A RIFLE OR SHOTGUN.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to establish the same background check and record-keeping requirements for each sale of a rifle or shotgun as are currently provided for each sale of a pistol or revolver, and extend such requirements to all secondary and private sales of such long guns, including all sales at gun shows.

To establish the same background check and record-keeping requirements for each sale of a rifle or shotgun as are currently provided for each sale of a pistol or revolver.
