AN ACT CONCERNING FIRE RETARDANT PAINTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That part II of chapter 541 of the general statutes be amended to require the State Fire Marshal to adopt regulations similar to those adopted in New York and California concerning the use of fire retardant paints on the interior and exterior of buildings and other structures.
Statement of Purpose:
To diminish the risk of fire by requiring the use of fire retardant paints.
