146th GENERAL ASSEMBLY

SENATE BILL NO. 121

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 10 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE LOCATION AT WHICH SHERIFF SALES MAY BE CONDUCTED IN KENT COUNTY.


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:


Section 1.Amend Section 4974, Chapter 49, Title 10 of the Delaware Code by adding a sentence to read as follows:

"In Kent County, sales may also be conducted in any building in which the Sheriff's Office is located."


SYNOPSIS

The Sheriff's Office is no longer located in Kent County Courthouse.This Bill permits Sheriff sales to be conducted at the Sheriff's Office.
