BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend an Act creating one or more community improvement districts in
unincorporated Fulton County and within each municipality therein, approved
April 3, 1987 (Ga. L. 1987, p. 5460), as amended, so as to provide for an
additional power of each district and its board; to repeal conflicting laws; and
for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
An
Act creating one or more community improvement districts in unincorporated
Fulton County and within each municipality therein, approved April 3, 1987 (Ga.
L. 1987, p. 5460), as amended, is amended in Section 10 by adding a new
paragraph to read as follows:
"(19)
To create, provide, enhance, or supplement public services such as fire, police,
and other such services as may be deemed necessary, provided that said services
do not conflict with or duplicate existing Fulton County or municipal
corporation services."
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
