RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Ladavion Dapree Hill, outstanding student of Church Street
Elementary School; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Ladavion Dapree Hill has been awarded the "Most Improved Boy" student award for
the 2010 graduation class of Church Street Elementary School; and
WHEREAS,
he will receive this prestigious honor at the award ceremony to be held at the
Performing Arts Center in Jonesboro, Georgia, on Thursday, May 27, 2010;
and
WHEREAS,
Ladavion Dapree Hill has shown by his example that the pursuit and attainment of
scholastic success are within the reach of all students in this state;
and
WHEREAS,
this remarkable young scholar has earned distinction through his superlative
achievements at Church Street Elementary School, where he is an ever improving
student, and has consistently demonstrated an increasingly better and more
positive attitude; and
WHEREAS,
each day for Ladavion Dapree Hill is a new day and one in which he knows he can
perform even better than before, and his dedication to self-improvement sets a
positive example for other children to follow; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Hill has personified the selfless dedication, mental agility, and personal
maturity necessary for becoming a better person, and he is a shining star and
role model for other young people of Georgia to follow.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body heartily
commend Ladavion Dapree Hill for his spectacular student performance and express
their most sincere best wishes for continued academic success in the
future.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Ladavion Dapree Hill.
