RESOLUTION
Congratulating
Global Technology Connection, Inc.; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Global Technology Connection, Inc. was recently named 2008 Small Business of the
Year by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS,
under the guiding hand of its CEO, Dr. Ash Thakker, this outstanding company has
grown from its humble beginnings to become one of the leading technology design,
development, and commercialization businesses in this state; and
WHEREAS,
this remarkable corporate citizen has established a glowing reputation
throughout Georgia for designing products and technologies that offer a wide
range of values, and it continues to meet the needs of its customers by
providing maintenance savings, reduced risk, increased availability, and reduced
maintenance personnel and repair parts; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
amazing company be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
congratulate Global Technology Connection, Inc. on the occasion of its being
named 2008 Small Business of the Year, commend it for its many outstanding
contributions on behalf of the citizens of Georgia, and extend to it their best
wishes for continued corporate growth, development, and success in the
future.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Global Technology
Connection, Inc.
