RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Mr. Michael Arjona for outstanding contributions to education in
the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. Arjona is a highly respected educator at The Walker School; and
WHEREAS,
the contributions and achievements of Mr. Arjona have been recognized by his
selection as Economics Teacher of the Year; and
WHEREAS,
nothing is more vital to the future of our state than the education of our young
people and Mr. Arjona exemplifies the selfless dedication which is
characteristic of our finest educators; and
WHEREAS,
it is appropriate that this body join in expressing appreciation to Mr. Arjona
for his efforts and accomplishments.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that this body hereby recognizes and
commends Mr. Michael Arjona; extends its congratulations upon his selection as
Economics Teacher of the Year; and expresses its gratitude for the great credit
this outstanding educator reflects upon his school and the State of
Georgia.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Michael Arjona.
