RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Mr. David Sizemore; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. David Sizemore is an outstanding individual who excels in athletics and in
filmmaking; and
WHEREAS,
a resident of Canton, Georgia, Mr. Sizemore is a student at Chattahoochee
Technical College where he studies videography; and
WHEREAS,
an accomplished in-line skater, Mr. Sizemore tied for second place in the world
standings for professional skating; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Sizemore competed against 79 professional athletes in 11 events held around
the world in order to earn his prestigious ranking; and
WHEREAS,
he also dedicates his time, talent, and energy inspiring and teaching young
athletes at Progressive Skatepark; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Sizemore has earned acclaim for his filmmaking talents, earning an honorable
mention at the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival; and
WHEREAS,
this stellar young man epitomizes the courage, determination, leadership, and
character necessary to attain excellence in athletic prowess and performance and
to achieve success as an individual and citizen; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the superlative skills and outstanding
deeds of this accomplished athlete and student be appropriately
recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Mr. David Sizemore for his unprecedented athletic performance and extend to him
their sincerest best wishes for continued success in the future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. David Sizemore.
