A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the twenty-ninth representative district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2015-2016:
1. To be expended by the department of education:
A. Central middle school, Oahu
Plans, design, construction, and equipment for the repainting of all buildings and structures of the school.

B. Central middle school, Oahu
Plans, design, construction, and equipment for repaving and resurfacing of the Kukui parking lot, Administration parking lot, and the Queen Emma parking lot.

C. President William McKinley high school, Oahu
Plans, design, construction, and equipment for repaving the main parking lot, McKinley Community School for Adults parking lot, Pensacola street entrance, King street entrance, and cafeteria parking lot.

Plans, design, construction, and equipment for "green" technology upgrades for lighting and plumbing, and architectural safety and earthquake repairs.

B. Hawaii theatre center, Oahu
Plans, design, construction, and equipment to add an additional women's rest room to the second floor.

A. Signalized crosswalk for Kalihi street, Oahu

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2015.
