A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO LIPOA POINT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. In carrying out its duties under section 171-3(a), Hawaii Revised Statutes, to manage the land and natural resources of this State, the department of land and natural resources shall implement a management plan developed by the Hawaiian Islands Land Trust for the Lipoa point area within the Lipoa point district, identified as TMK 2-4-1-001-010-0000, on the island of Maui.
SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2016-2017 for the department of land and natural resources to implement a management plan developed by the Hawaiian Islands Land Trust for the Lipoa point area.
The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.
