A BILL FOR AN ACT
making an appropriation to the department of education for the peaceful schools program.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $1,000,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2013-2014 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2014-2015 to the department of education's peaceful schools program for comprehensive training services and staff support and to collect comprehensive data on bullying.
The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of education for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2013.
