Removal
of
student
from
1
school
bus
——
notification.
2
When
a
student
is
removed
from
a
school
bus
due
to
the
3
student’s
behavior,
the
driver
of
the
school
bus
shall
4
immediately
notify
the
school
district
or
nonpublic
school
once
5
the
removal
occurs
and
the
student
is
in
a
safe
location.
If
6
another
school
employee
is
also
present
on
the
school
bus
at
7
the
time
of
the
removal,
that
employee
may
notify
the
school
8
district
or
nonpublic
school
instead.
The
school
district
or
9
nonpublic
school
shall
immediately
attempt
to
notify
the
parent
10
or
guardian
of
the
student
of
the
circumstances
of
the
removal,
11
including
the
student’s
present
location.
The
school
district
12
shall
continue
such
attempts
until
the
parent
or
guardian
is
13
successfully
notified.

the
general

This
bill
requires
the
driver
of
a
school
bus
to
immediately

notify
a
school
district
or
nonpublic
school
when
a
student

is
removed
from
a
school
bus
due
to
the
student’s
behavior.

The
notification
shall
be
carried
out
once
the
removal
occurs
21
and
the
student
is
in
a
safe
location.
The
school
district
or
22
nonpublic
school
shall
immediately
attempt
to
notify
the
parent
23
or
guardian
of
the
student
of
the
circumstances
of
the
removal
24
and
present
location
and
shall
continue
such
attempts
until
the
25
parent
or
guardian
is
successfully
notified.
