Cybersecurity
functions
and
equipment.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
5
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

Each
school
district
is
allowed
to
certify
for
levy
a
7
district
management
levy.
The
levy
may
only
be
used
to
make
8
payments
for
certain
purposes
including
unemployment
benefits,
9
liability
insurance,
judgments
and
settlements,
insurance
10
agreements,
interest
on
judgments
and
settlements,
early
11
retirement
benefits,
mediation
and
arbitration,
and
legal
costs
12
associated
with
mediation
and
arbitration.
13
This
bill
allows
the
moneys
received
from
the
district
14
management
levy
to
also
be
used
for
cybersecurity
functions
and
15
equipment.
