AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3771
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3771 on page 2,
3line 13, after the period, by inserting "Beginning with grants
4awarded for the 2025-2026 academic year, a grant under this
5Section may also be used at any private, not-for-profit
6college or university in this State that is approved to
7participate in the Monetary Award Program under Section 35 of
8this Act. A recipient attending such a private, not-for-profit
9college or university shall receive payment of tuition and
10mandatory fees in an amount not to exceed the maximum grant
11payable to a student enrolled in the most expensive comparable
12program of study at a public college or university in this
13State."; and
14on page 8, by replacing lines 18 through 24 with the following:
15"person whose records were expunged and sealed. The clerk
16shall post in the common areas of the courthouse a notice
17containing information about grants for exonerated persons and
