1 AN ACT concerning safety.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Public Water Supply Regulation Act is
5amended by adding Section 9 as follows:
6 (415 ILCS 40/9 new)
7 Sec. 9. Endocrine-disrupting chemical testing. When
8testing water, a public water supply shall test for
9endocrine-disrupting chemicals, including, but not limited to,
10androgen and estrogen receptor compounds.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12becoming law.
