Bill Title: Creates the Wireless Telephone Customer Privacy Act. Prohibits the disclosure of customer proprietary network information. Defines terms. Provides exemptions for disclosure pursuant to law. Provides that a violation is a Class 2 felony. Amends the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. Provides that a violation of the Wireless Telephone Customer Privacy Act is an unlawful practice under the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act.

AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2909
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2909 as follows:
3on page 1, by replacing line 13 with "covered"; and
4on page 2, line 7, after "rule", by inserting ", including, but
5not limited to, 47 U.S.C. 222"; and
6on page 2, line 16, by replacing "Class 2 felony" with
7"business offense, with a minimum fine of $1,000 per offense
8and a maximum fine of $5,000 per offense".
