1 AN ACT concerning local government.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Public Building Commission Act is amended by
5adding Section 14.4 as follows:
6 (50 ILCS 20/14.4 new)
7 Sec. 14.4. Use of architect for projects under $200,000.
8Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a county or a
9county's Commission may enter into a design-build contract that
10does not include the services of an architect for projects
11under $200,000.
12 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
13becoming law.
