Amends the Illinois Optometric Practice Act of 1987. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning holding a license.

1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Illinois Optometric Practice Act of 1987 is
5 amended by changing Section 4 as follows:
6 (225 ILCS 80/4) (from Ch. 111, par. 3904)
7 (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2017)
8 Sec. 4. No person shall practice, or attempt to practice,
9 optometry, as defined in this Act, without a valid license as
10 an optometrist issued by the the Department.
