AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The Department of Human Services Act is amended
by adding Section 10-71 as follows:
(20 ILCS 1305/10-71 new)
Sec. 10-71. Commission on Dependency and Addiction.
(a) The Department shall establish the Commission on
Dependency and Addiction. The purpose of the Commission shall
be to study fiscal matters regarding appropriating money
across statewide programs aimed at tackling substance
dependency and addiction.
(b) The Commission shall consist of members appointed by
the Department.
(c) The Department shall provide administrative assistance
and necessary staff support services.
