2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 is
5amended by adding Section 103-2.3 as follows:
6 (725 ILCS 5/103-2.3 new)
7 Sec. 103-2.3. Interrogation length. Notwithstanding any
8other provision of law, law enforcement interrogations are
9limited to a maximum of 9 hours in a 24-hour time frame.
