Bill Title: Amends the School Code. Provides that the State Board of Education shall establish and implement a school time-change grant program to provide grants to school districts to assist with additional costs incurred to change when the school day starts at a school containing any of grades 6 through 12 to on or after 8 a.m. Provides that to be eligible to receive a grant under this program, a school district must change when the school day starts before the 2026-2027 school year. Provides that State Board of Education may adopt any rules necessary to implement these provisions.
