| 1 | HOUSE RESOLUTION
| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, Alpine Academy of Rockford, then known as Luther | ||||||
| 3 | Academy of Alpine, began providing quality faith-based | ||||||
| 4 | education in 1997 as a partnership between Alpine Lutheran | ||||||
| 5 | Church and Rockford Lutheran Schools; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, The Alpine Lutheran Church congregation made the | ||||||
| 7 | bold commitment to continue education as Alpine Academy of | ||||||
| 8 | Rockford in 2007 when Rockford Lutheran Schools made the | ||||||
| 9 | determination to discontinue the school at Alpine; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, Alpine Academy of Rockford has remained dedicated | ||||||
| 11 | to providing Pre K through sixth grade education that focuses | ||||||
| 12 | on ensuring that young people are prepared for future | ||||||
| 13 | scholastic achievement and participation as good citizens; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Through the dedication of the teachers, staff, | ||||||
| 15 | students, families, and the congregation, Alpine Academy | ||||||
| 16 | continues to uphold its core values of grace, family, | ||||||
| 17 | involvement, commitment, and achievement; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, In 2023, Alpine Academy of Rockford expanded its | ||||||
| 19 | commitment to education throughout Rockford by opening a new | ||||||
| 20 | location in conjunction with Resurrection Lutheran Church on | ||||||
| 21 | Rockford's west side; and

| 1 | WHEREAS, In 2023, Alpine Academy of Rockford is | ||||||
| 2 | celebrating 25 years of high quality education at Alpine and | ||||||
| 3 | throughout the Rockford community; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 4 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 5 | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 6 | we congratulate Alpine Academy of Rockford for its continued | ||||||
| 7 | devotion to quality education on the occasion of its 25th | ||||||
| 8 | anniversary; and be it further

| 9 | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be | ||||||
| 10 | presented Alpine Academy of Rockford as an expression of our | ||||||
