| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to commend Dominic Falagario on his | ||||||
| 4 | service to the Village of Norridge; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Dominic Falagario was elected to a four-year term | ||||||
| 6 | as Village Trustee in 1999; as a Trustee, he chaired the Law | ||||||
| 7 | and Ordinance Committee; most notably, he sat on the Advisory | ||||||
| 8 | Review Committee and the Zoning Board of Trustees and was | ||||||
| 9 | responsible for adjudication court; he served as a member of | ||||||
| 10 | the Finance, License, and Contracts and the Village Properties, | ||||||
| 11 | Sidewalks, Environment, and Economic Development Committees; | ||||||
| 12 | and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, An active community member, Dominic Falagario | ||||||
| 14 | served as Norridge Park District President and Commissioner for | ||||||
| 15 | 18 years; he served on a Telecommunications Advisory Committee | ||||||
| 16 | in 1997 and was a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals; he was | ||||||
| 17 | also involved in Norridge Youth Activities as coach and manager | ||||||
| 18 | for ten years; he was one of the founders of the Pre-School, | ||||||
| 19 | Day Care, and Adult Recreation Centers at the Norridge Park | ||||||
| 20 | District as well as the Greater Illinois Semi-Pro Baseball | ||||||
| 21 | League, where he represented Norridge; and
| ||||||
| 22 | WHEREAS, A retired executive from Supervalue, Dominic | ||||||

| |||||||
| 1 | Falagario served as the head of store planning and development; | ||||||
| 2 | he has a degree in architectural engineering and design and was | ||||||
| 3 | active with the Architectural Review Committee and the National | ||||||
| 4 | Institute of Store Planners; he has resided in Norridge for the | ||||||
| 5 | past 52 years; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 7 | HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 8 | we commend Dominic Falagario on his service to the Village of | ||||||
| 9 | Norridge; and be it further
| ||||||
| 10 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 11 | presented to Dominic Falagario as an expression of our esteem | ||||||
| 12 | and respect.
