| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Mary Kuprianczyk on | ||||||
| 4 | receiving the Amelia Earhart Award; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Mary Kuprianczyk is a Cadet Captain with the | ||||||
| 6 | United States Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol unit | ||||||
| 7 | stationed at Palwaukee Airport; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, The Amelia Earhart Award honors the completion of | ||||||
| 9 | a cadet's first 11 achievements of the cadet program and is the | ||||||
| 10 | second milestone of the program; the cadet program covers | ||||||
| 11 | aerospace education, leadership, special activities, physical | ||||||
| 12 | fitness, and moral and ethical values through group and | ||||||
| 13 | individual activities; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Mary Kuprianczyk is a junior high school student | ||||||
| 15 | at Rickover Naval Academy (Chicago Public Schools Naval High | ||||||
| 16 | School in Edgewater); and
| ||||||
| 17 | WHEREAS, Mary Kuprianczyk exemplifies what a role model | ||||||
| 18 | should be for the youth of her community; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 19 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 20 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
