| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Herbert H. "Herb" Frohock | ||||||
| 4 | III on the occasion of his retirement as business manager and | ||||||
| 5 | financial secretary-treasurer of the United Association of | ||||||
| 6 | Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 553 (UA Local 553); and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Herb Frohock was initiated into UA Local 553 on | ||||||
| 8 | July 1, 1982, and he has been an officer since 2004 when he was | ||||||
| 9 | first elected to the Examining Board, holding that position | ||||||
| 10 | until 2012; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Herb Frohock was then elected to the Executive | ||||||
| 12 | Board of UA Local 553, serving until 2015; during that time, he | ||||||
| 13 | was appointed business representative in 2013, a position he | ||||||
| 14 | also held until 2015; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Herb Frohock was elected as business manager and | ||||||
| 16 | financial secretary-treasurer of UA Local 553 in 2015, a | ||||||
| 17 | position he will conclude on February 1, 2024; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, Herb Frohock has held a number of leadership | ||||||
| 19 | roles in various other organizations, including serving as | ||||||
| 20 | vice president of the Illinois Pipe Trades Association, labor | ||||||
| 21 | chair of the United Way of Greater St. Louis Auxiliary Board of | ||||||

| 1 | the Southwest Illinois Division, and labor representative for | ||||||
| 2 | the United Way of Greater St. Louis Board of Directors; and
| ||||||
| 3 | WHEREAS, Herb Frohock is the husband of Dawn Frohock and | ||||||
| 4 | the father of sons and fellow UA Local 553 members, H. Hadley | ||||||
| 5 | Frohock IV and Hunter Frohock; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 6 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | ||||||
| 7 | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 8 | we congratulate Herbert H. "Herb" Frohock III on his | ||||||
| 9 | retirement from the United Association of Plumbers & | ||||||
| 10 | Pipefitters Local 553 (UA Local 553) after 41 years of | ||||||
